Natural Skin Care Product for Hair Removal

Today I would like to share with you a new natural skin care product for hair removal that I recently discovered, but let’s start from the beginning. Have you ever been fed up with shaving your legs every day? Some days you just get up too late to go through the whole shaving/moisturizing deal. I’ve had those days when the kids just can’t get organized in the morning and I’m running late. That left me with only one choice: put on long pants and hope that no one notices.

I’m sure you all tried waxing… ouch!!! I have another problem, I must be allergic to something in the wax, because I break out every time I get my eyebrows waxed. Not a pleasant site.

Then I discovered sugaring. That sounded like a great idea. It’s natural and without all the chemicals present in other hair removal products. I watched a video on Youtube, got all my stuff ready and started cooking one Saturday morning. It took 25 minutes of stirring the mixture over a hot stove before it  got to be the right consistency. Then you had to wait for it to cool off, but not too long. When the mixture got cold, it was too thick to apply. So I added a little bit of water, apparently too much, so had to cook it a few more minutes. Then I started running out of the right cloths that are thin enough to stick to the sugaring mixture. Well, to make the long story short, 3 hours later my legs weren’t done yet, but I ran out of the sugaring mixture. I finished the job by shaving my legs since we were going out that night.

Couple weeks ago, when I was searching the web for some interesting articles, I found this product called MOOM. It’s a sugaring mixture, but without the cooking and all the mess. It also contains premium, natural ingredients that are gentle on your skin:

Chamomile: Chamomile is an ancient herb renowned for its therapeutic and beneficial attributes. The process used in making MOOM® captures the antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and soothing qualities of this wonder herb.

Lemon Juice: Lemon juice further enhances these antiseptic and anti-bacterial benefits.

Tea Tree Oil: Tea tree oil is a mild local anesthetic, renowned for it’s healing and antiseptic properties. It is also very effective in treating acne and blemishes.

Sugar: Sugar is a natural preservative

Water: Furthermore, MOOM’s® adhesion is precisely measured for removal of only the hair and the dead skin cells, not the healthy vital skin underneath.

Here is the best part: It Eliminates The Pain And Discomforts Of Waxing And Other Methods
Tea tree oil is a mild local anesthetic to desensitize the area.
MOOM’s® adhesion is precisely measured for removal of only the hair (not the skin).
Does not cling tenaciously to the skin thus no need for post treatment lotions
There is no skin damage, ingrown hair, allergic reactions, bruising or irritation to the skin
Gentle enough for the most sensitive areas, yet strong enough for the most stubborn hair.
Hypo allergenic.
Does not leave any residue on the skin.
Unlike many products, there is absolutely no wax, natural or artificial resins in MOOM®, which means the end of ingrown hairs.
